Income Statement Highlights

• Consolidated net income was $2.2 million in 1Q24, or $2.19 per diluted share, compared to $3.0 million in 1Q23, or $2.97 per diluted share.
• The net interest margin (NIM) was 3.39% for 1Q24, compared to 3.57% for 1Q23.
• Interest earned on the Bank's interest-bearing deposit account at the Federal Reserve Bank was $2.8 million for 1Q24 compared to $2.3 million for 1Q23.
• The yield on the loan portfolio has risen to 6.05% for 1Q24 compared to 5.33% for 1Q23.
• Noninterest expense was $6.4 million in 1Q24 compared to $5.9 million in 1Q23.

Balance Sheet Highlights

• Total consolidated assets increased 2.6% to $982.8 million on March 31, 2024, compared to $957.8 million a year earlier.
• Tangible shareholders' equity improved 11.4% to $72.7 million on March 31, 2024, compared to $65.3 million a year earlier.
• A $2.50 per share dividend was paid to shareholders on February 5, 2024, totaling $2.5 million.
• Interest-bearing deposits at correspondent banks totaled $203.3 million on March 31, 2024 (20.7% of total assets) compared to $185.4 million a year earlier (19.4% of total assets).
• The securities portfolio totaled $126.1 million on March 31, 2024, compared to $130.2 million a year earlier. The weighted average remaining life approximates 2.5 years.
• The loan portfolio totaled $633.3 million on March 31, 2024, $7.8 million, or 1.2%, higher than a year earlier.
• Total deposits and repurchase agreements increased 1.9% to $884.1 million on March 31, 2024, compared to $867.3 million a year earlier.
• The Corporation's other borrowings were $7.8 million on March 31, 2024, unchanged from a year earlier.
• The Bank continues to be well-capitalized, with a Tier 1 Leverage Capital Ratio of 9.66% on March 31, 2024.

Trust and Wealth Management

• Trust and wealth management assets totaled $993.2 million on March 31, 2024, compared to $881.9 million a year earlier.
